Flowers 🌻 Eid Joy Starts at Your Table
After thirty days of reflection and spirituality, Eid arrives carrying an atmosphere of joy and happiness. The "Flowers" runner reflects these feelings through a design full of vibrant colors and motifs inspired by beautiful blooms.
The Design Concept
The "Flowers" runner is inspired by the flower gardens of the Netherlands. I wanted to bring the spirit of flower gardens to fill the Eid atmosphere — those moments when we decorate our homes to welcome loved ones, where flowers bloom and spread their joyful colors to express the happiness that fills our hearts. A collection of colorful flowers in all shades, I wanted to illustrate roses and blooms to evoke a garden overflowing with flowers, and added Eid greeting words and phrases in black, with hearts separating each phrase for a sense of order and a touch of beauty.
Design and Execution Details
Colors
A mix of vibrant flowers in all bright shades, blended with black and white lettering to make the text stand out. I chose a white background to highlight the flower colors and the black Eid phrases — creating a radiant artistic piece that radiates joy and happiness. One look at this runner and you'll smile, guaranteed.
Motifs
Inspired by the flower gardens of the Netherlands, filled with different types of colorful blooms. I painted the flowers in watercolors to give them more life, and added details that distinguish each flower and highlight its beauty. I brought them together in the design to give the feeling of vast fields of flowers. I loved the final result of the Eid Flowers runner.
